Kuala Lumpur Metropolitan University College (KLMUC) is a progressive and innovative higher learning institution with two distinctive faculties and one centre offering 18 programmes. Established in 2006, KLMUC currently offers Foundation, Diploma, Degree and Masters programmes that inculcate ‘Real World Practice’ as a pathway to professional success.
Owned by Ekuiti Nasional Berhad (EKUINAS), the government-linked private equity fund management company, KLMUC also prides itself in continuously developing relevant programmes to meet students’ needs through affordable fees supported by PTPTN. The academic programmes are developed through close consultation with business and industry partners, the public sector and professionals.

Students at KLMUC are exposed to a multi-cultural environment at the campus to prepare them for a successful career. The university invests millions of Ringgit to ensure students would have access to the latest technology and equipment in preparation for the real world.
With an inspiring view of the Petronas Twin Towers, the current KLMUC campus is located next to the junction of Jalan Raja Laut and Jalan Sultan Ismail near the business, shopping and commercial districts of Kuala Lumpur. Other prominent office buildings, shopping complexes, hotels, restaurants, banks and others are also nearby.
The campus is well-connected to a public transportation system whereby a bus-stop is located in front of the campus while the Sultan Ismail Star line LRT station is only a block away. Within walking distance is the Medan Tuanku Monorail station.
The KLMUC city campus is comprised of two building blocks and the main facilities are consistently upgraded according to the needs of the market or the developments within the related industries.
A recent investment totalling RM2 million has been plowed into the project to build modern and sophisticated facilities for the Faculty of Tourism & Hospitality.
These include three training kitchens which can accommodate 20 students during each session, a room for pastry production, an air-conditioned room for the fine art of chocolate preparation & ice-carving and several practical rooms. There is also a “kopitiam” styled café fully operated and managed by the faculty’s students.
These are geared towards exposing students to the realities of the world outside. These crucial experiences will enable the transition from being students to becoming highly skilled potential employees for the industry.
Another RM1 million has been invested for the Faculty of Health Sciences to set up state-of-the-art labs and equipment. These labs provide a rich learning environment for the Medical Lab Technology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy programmes.

The programmes at Kuala Lumpur Metropolitan University College are designed to meet industry needs where syllabuses are uniquely structured to incorporate practical elements through students activities such as laboratory, studio, media exposure, site visits, kitchen exercises, forums, events and other usage of real-world technologies – depending on discipline. Students learn practical skills that are immediately applicable in the workforce. Through the subjects, students are able to experience the real working life while studying.

KLMUC offers two (2) types of accommodation to students, which are managed by KLMUC and through third party providers. The hostels are affordable and located within a reasonable distance from the main campus. KLMUC understands that some students require different types of hostels hence our Hostel Unit will assist both local and international students from different cultures and help them to understand and adapt into daily student life.
